We are very pleased to announce the teaching dates at the Rigpa NYC center:

Ringu Tulku Rinpoche: October 23, 7pm

Ringu Tulku Rinpoche was born in 1952 in Kham Lingtsang, in east Tibet, and recognized by His Holiness the sixteenth Gyalwang Karmapa as the incarnation of one of the tulkus of Ringu monastery, a Kagyüpa monastery in his home province. Rinpoche is extremely knowledgeable and with his excellent command of the English language, he is able to transmit the most complicated teachings in a remarkably accessible way, infused with his characteristic warmth and sense of humour.

Details to follow as we get closer to each teaching date.

erricNew Course: Intro to Meditation: Using thoughts and emotions

We all want to be happy.
But often the relentless pace and challenges of life make it impossible to know where to look for happiness. Through the wisdom of meditation, however, we can find peace and contentment.

New Course for Mandala Students: Introduction to Ngöndro Practice

Using both the Brief Dudjom Tersar Ngöndro and the Longchen Nyingtik Ngöndro, this course provides explanations on the purpose and context of ngöndro, as well as a comprehensive overview detailing its individual practices. Guided practices will allow students to develop an experiential taste of each of the ngöndro practices and to enable them to confidently begin to practice their ngondro, and allow students already practicing to reconnect and re-energize.

5 Tuesdays, starting September 9. For more information see here.
