Movie Night! My Reincarnation

My Reincarnation

Friday, Feb. 24, 7pm

Filmed over 20 years by acclaimed documentarian Jennifer Fox, My Reincarnation chronicles the epic story of the high Tibetan Buddhist Master, Chögyal Namkhai Norbu, and his western-born son, Yeshi. The film follows Namkhai Norbu’s rise to greatness as a Buddhist teacher in the West, while Yeshi, recognized at birth as the reincarnation of a famous spiritual master, breaks away from his father’s tradition to embrace the modern world. Can the father convince his son to keep the family’s threatened spiritual legacy alive? Fox expertly distils a decades-long drama into a universal story about love, transformation and destiny.

We are very fortunate to be able to share this fascinating film with you at our New Location: Kundrolling (New York Dzogchen Center) at 151 W. 30th St. #403. (Ring 4 at the door.) Kundrolling is, in fact, the NYC Center of the students of Namkhai Norbu Rinpoche, featured in our film, and some of these students will be on hand to talk with us about their teacher and his son.

Please come and help us inaugurate our first movie night at Kundrolling! Bring something to eat or drink for our potluck table.  Join us!

Movie Night is free and open to the public.  RSVP at linforre@aol.com.
